Nina D'Amato
For 12 years, Nina D’Amato has maintained dual careers within education and the Marine Corps reserves. Her recent accomplishments include the implementation and execution of Afghanistan's National Education Strategic Plan.
Nina has consulted for Teachers Curriculum Institute, the most progressive social studies curriculum the United States has yet seen, conducting professional development sessions for teachers and colleges in the Bay Area to improve pedagogical practice of classroom teachers.
As a Major in the US Marine Corps, Nina has authored and disseminated policies for the training and development of officers based on current global mission requirements at the strategic and operational levels.
Nina earned her BA in history at the University of Washington and received a master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
