Leading the Way

Razia’s Ray of Hope flourishes under the guidance of an active board of directors:

Michelle Shea

Michelle Shea was raised in Gardner, Mass. As a teenager she loved volunteering with mentally handicapped adults. She later worked for a division of Citi Bank for 17 years where she held several positions, including District Manager in southern New England. She went on to work for Sovereign Bank as Manager for the Marshfield and Duxbury branches. Currently, Michelle works as a Manger at S-Bank, a community bank that believes in giving back to the community.

Michelle joined the Duxbury Rotary Club in 2010.The Rotary fit Michelle’s interest in “service above self.” She was deeply impressed with the Rotary’s dedication and focus in helping to construct a wall around the Zabuli Education Center. This connection introduced Michelle to Razia — who deeply inspired Michelle. Michelle is honored to be part of the great things that Razia’s Ray of Hope is doing in Afghanistan.
