Zara Jan is a Project Manager at a fintech company, supporting internal teams and external clients through the delivery of projects related to internal processes and the customer onboarding journey.
Previously, Zara worked as a frontline practitioner at a human rights foundation, where she was directly involved in supporting cases related to gender-based violence. In addition to this role, she has worked with organisations including the Every Woman Treaty and other initiatives focused on advancing women's rights.
Her professional experience spans both the private and nonprofit sectors, with a consistent focus on women's rights issues throughout her career and graduate studies. Zara holds an MSc in International Development and Management from Lund University, where her master's thesis examined the impact of COVID-19 on domestic violence against women in Pakistan, and an LLB (Hons) from the University of London.
